was born in Cleethorpes and is the fifth generation of Appleyards in the town. Lee has spent most of his life as a
Nurse in the NHS. Following a time in Gran Canaria he worked in London and more recently in Hull and Grimsby Hospitals. He returned to Cleethorpes to spend more quality time with his family and
especially his Nanna. Lee has seen a massive change in Cleethorpes over the last fifteen years and is thrilled to now have his own business in his home town.
“I have a real sense of pride in Cleethorpes and it has always been a very special place for me. When I saw Relish was for sale, we jumped at the chance. I love meeting new people and being ‘front of house’, so this is the perfect job for me”.
was born in Hemel Hempstead and has spent many years working and managing restaurants and bars. Sean really was the
force behind making Relish what you see today. He has worked tirelessly to get the restaurant ready for opening in just one week. From ordering the stock to recruiting the staff, there really isn’t
much that Sean doesn’t know about running a restaurant!
“I am committed to giving our guests a happy and memorable experience. If our guests ask for something different or unusual, I will do everything I can to help them. For example, we have recently sourced Gluten Free Beer and have recently been asked for Violet Syrup to go with our Rhubarb Vodka. So the hunt is on!!! You ask, and we will try and make it happen! It has always been a dream of mine to own my own restaurant and I really cant believe it!”
